Ergocom Limited acquires Energise Recovery Programmes
Ergocom Limited acquires Energise Recovery Programmes following highly successful 3-year partnership
Ergocom Limited and Energise Health are delighted to jointly announce that Ergocom Limited has officially acquired the Energise Recovery Programme suite, including Energise Recovery and Energise Recovery 4Life. The acquisition brings the award-winning Energise Recovery self-management programmes fully in-house into Ergocom Limited’s growing portfolio of specialist rehabilitation services, while allowing Energise Health’s founders to step back following a successful five-year journey.
The acquisition represents the natural evolution of a strong, three-year collaborative partnership between the two organisations. By combining Energise Health’s evidence-based recovery facilitation programmes with Ergocom Limited’s expertise in vocational rehabilitation and vocational case management, the partnership has consistently delivered outstanding outcomes for individuals managing injury, illness, chronic health conditions, and complex barriers to employment.
A Natural Evolution of a Proven Model
The Energise Recovery Programmes were developed six years ago by Energise Health Partners, Dr Dee Burrows and Victoria Collins, to give individuals practical tools to regain control of their health. Over the past three years of working alongside Ergocom Limited, the integrated model has helped clients understand and manage symptoms such as pain, fatigue, stress, and anxiety, while building practical strategies to improve function, independence, and workability.
Participants typically start the programme using around seven self-management techniques and leave with an average of 25 practical strategies they can readily apply—a success reflected in both participant feedback and measurable return-to-work outcomes.
Strengthening Ergocom Limited’s Service Offering
By embedding Energise Recovery Programmes within its operations, Ergocom Limited can now offer a fully integrated, end-to-end rehabilitation pathway under one roof. Clients will benefit from a seamless journey - from assessment and tailored rehabilitation planning through to recovery and vocational support.
The 6-week interactive programmes introduce 30 evidence-based strategies across six key areas:
Energy, Recovery, and Bodily Sensations
Thoughts and Emotions
Sleep and Rest
Movement and Activity
Building a Recovery Toolkit
Sustaining Recovery into the Future
Crucially, both Energise Recovery and Energise Recovery 4Life will also remain available as a standalone service for individuals seeking symptom management and wellbeing support. Case managers and previous referrers are therefore warmly welcomed to continue referring clients to the programmes, where they will receive the same high standard of service and dedicated support.
Continuity and Next Steps
To ensure continuity of care and quality, Dr Dee Burrows will continue to deliver the Energise Recovery Programmes as an associate with Ergocom Limited, working alongside Ergocom Limited’s skilled in-house facilitators.
Energise Health will run one final Energise Recovery 4Life Programme from 18 September to 23 October 2026 before winding down its business operations by the end of the year. Any referrals for the September programme should be sent to programme@energiseourhealth.co.uk. Future referrals should be sent to admin@ergocom.co.uk
